Imperial Point x Design Lab, pilot preview

Everything built so far, in one place

A working preview of the Imperial Point pilot. Click through it like a customer would, then look at it the way a rep would. Notes and questions for you are at the bottom.

Updated Oct 9, 2026. This is a preview server, not the final home of the site.

Where to click

1. The Imperial Point site

Home page, product pages, catalog and FAQ, built so ChatGPT, Google AI and Perplexity can read the catalog.

2. The Design Lab

A 5 minute test drive

  1. Open the Design Lab and pick a product and a design.
  2. Pick three team colors. The preview recolors instantly, before any AI runs.
  3. Upload a team logo (any PNG or JPG), type a team name and a number.
  4. Click Create my design. It takes about 10 to 20 seconds.
  5. Ask for a change in plain English, for example "make the side panels black" or "add a pinstripe". Each change is a new version you can go back to. Hold the compare button above the image to see the original catalog design.
  6. Click Get presentation, fill in the contact form, and you land on the finished presentation.
  7. Open the rep inbox. Your test shows up there as a new lead.

Please do test it on your phone too. The whole flow is built to work there.

What's done

Your stepStatus
Select a productDone 6 Imperial Point product types (basketball, volleyball, flag football, soccer, softball, shooter shirt) with their cuts
Upload a logoDone The customer's actual logo file is placed on the chest, so it is never redrawn or garbled by the AI. It stays exact through every change, gets a minimum size, and gets a thin outline if it would disappear into the jersey color
Select team colorsDone Main, second and trim from an 18-color team chart, with a live preview
Customize an existing designDone 12 catalog designs. The AI edits the existing design rather than inventing a new one, which is what keeps it consistent
Changes by AI promptDone Plain-language changes, quick-change buttons, full version history with undo
Consistent front and backDone Every version is a front and back flat in the same layout
Standardized presentationDone Branded, printable sheet with color names and hex codes, the logo as supplied, product, cut, quantity, date and version history
Lead capture and rep follow-upDone Contact form on save, rep inbox with statuses (new, contacted, quoted, won, lost), search and filters
Emails (customer link, rep alert)Built, switched off Both emails are written and tested, but nothing gets sent until you have seen and approved them
AI-ready websiteDone Server-rendered pages with structured product and FAQ data, plus an llms.txt for AI assistants
Hosting for real customersReady, not live The production setup (database, image storage, rep login, spend limits) is built and tested; it goes live on Imperial Point's domain once we pick it

What's a stand-in (so nothing surprises you)

What we need from Imperial Point

  1. 20 to 40 best-selling designs across 4 to 6 products. Each one a flat PNG, front on the left and back on the right, on a plain light gray background, at least 2400 x 1600 px.
  2. Each design colored in the same three template colors: royal blue #1F4FBF for the main body, white for the second color, athletic gold #F2B705 for trim. That's what lets a customer swap in their colors instantly. TEAM and 00 on the front, PLAYER and 00 on the back, a clear spot on the chest for the logo, no labels or watermarks.
  3. A list with each design's name and product, your team color chart with names and hex codes, the fonts for names and numbers, and the Imperial Point logo.
  4. Nice to have: 10 to 20 real customer logos from past orders, so we can test logo placement on real-world files.

If it's easier to send designs in their normal colors plus the layered source files, that works too. We'll convert them, it just takes longer.

What happens next

  1. You click through and send feedback, big or small.
  2. Your art team sends the designs and brand files.
  3. We load them, go live on Imperial Point's domain, and switch on the emails after you approve them.
  4. Pilot with 5 to 10 real Imperial Point customers.

Rough timing: 4 to 6 weeks from receiving the files to a customer-ready version.

On the vPersonalize note: agreed. Print-ready production files (graded patterns, rosters, nesting) are the natural next stage after the semi-custom flow, and the design data we capture now (design, colors, logo file, names, numbers) is what that step would run on.

Questions for you

  1. What's your first reaction to the flow? Anything that feels wrong for Imperial Point's customers?
  2. Which domain should the live version use (for example lab.theimperialpoint.com)?
  3. Who on the rep side should get new-lead alerts?
  4. Which 5 to 10 customers would be good for the pilot?
  5. Is there anything your art team never allows (logo positions, colors, fonts) that the AI should follow?
